I've had these since April '09 and they work great, they are great for quick drinks and are safe for microwave use to warm milk, if you need a sippy cup for use somewhat as a bottle you may want to take the straw out and and just have the child tilt their head back while biting down on the bite valve to allow the milk to flow freely hopefully mimicking somewhat of a bottle feel.
